Business Intelligence Analyst (m/f) Responsibilities:
- Take a proactive approach to defining metrics, reports, and dashboards
- Collaborate with executives, managers, and analysts with a wide variety of experience from different industries7
- Translate loosely defined business questions into clearly defined technical and data specifications
- Directly and indirectly manage projects and small teams of analysts and developers
- Understand new business models and adapt analytic methods to measure their success
- Employ resourcefulness and perseverance to find data from any available source
Requirements:
- 8+ years working in business-intelligence or data-analysis role
- Proficiency with SQL and BI tools, especially MicroStrategy
- Experience designing and implementing dimensional data model
- Adeptness working with large datasets
- Competency writing queries with Hadoop and Hive
- Experience with Vertica or other MPP database systems
