Our customer is a privately owned pharmaceutical company with its Headquarters based in the Basel area. They develop and market their own range of pharmaceutical products in several countries. In order to strengthen the sales force we are seeking an experienced - Key Account/ Sales Manager (m/f) AL659-3 - with a strong scientific background - Job Responsibilities -
- Establishing and achieving the sales and marketing budget
- Visiting customers on a regular basis and informing them about the company’s products on a scientific level
- Acquisition of new customers within the assigned region
- Consultation of customers with their specific questions related to the products and supporting all activities related to questions from authorities
- Execution of market research, assisting in creation of marketing materials and conducting of marketing activities in line with the marketing plan provided
- Preparing and giving presentations at scientific conferences
- Controlling of order forecasts and assisting in timely distribution and logistics of products
- Providing input into new product developments and all launch activities
- Candidate Requirements -
- Scientific degree (ideally in medicine, pharmacy, biology) with first professional experience in the field of sales
- Very good understanding of the market and the customer needs (hospitals, pharmacy shops, laboratories)
- Very good communication and presentation skills in German and English, any additional language skills are an asset
- Very good communication and negotiation skills at different levels
- Entrepreneurial thinking and behaviour, highly motivated and proactive personality
- Willingness to travel about 50%
