Our over 11,000 employees include 68 nationalities. - We are currently looking for a Junior Cocoa Analyst to strengthen the team in Geneva. - Main duties include but are not limited to: - - Assist with the supervision of the cocoa crop forecasting operations at origin (mostly West Africa and South East Asia) - - Maintain/update/develop the various databases - - Develop models to support market analysis and trading decisions - - Develop links with relevant internal and external personnel/organisations - - Provide regular reports and presentations to cocoa traders and other internal stakeholders - - - Profile: - - Masters degree in Agronomy or Agricultural Economics - - Extremely important this individual is keen to travel inland in producing countries (mostly Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana and Indonesia). An experience in developing countries would be an asset - - Fluent in English and French. Spanish is a plus - - Advanced user of Excel (VBA) and Access (SQL). Programming skills and knowledge of a statistical package (Eviews, SPSS,…) would be desirable - - Experience on forecasting and modeling building. Skills in econometrics/regression analysis - - Strong analytical and communication skills.
